Received a decline?

Not every home will fit our appetite, but one decline doesn’t tell the whole story. Here’s what to keep in mind:

Property details matter—not just location. Construction, condition, claims history, and catastrophe exposure can all affect eligibility. Even similar homes in the same neighborhood may receive different results. Available capacity from our underwriting partners can also change over time.

Specialty appetite still has limits. We focus on catastrophe-exposed properties, but not every hard-to-place home will qualify. Our product guides can help you recognize which submissions are a better fit.

A surprising result is worth checking. Review the decline message and confirm that the property information is accurate. Depending on the reason for the decline, different coverage options may make another offer available, provided they still meet your client’s needs. Contact our support team for help understanding the outcome and exploring appropriate options.

Give Annex more than one opportunity. Quote a range of homes that match our appetite—not just your toughest placement. Activating Annex in EZLynx

Your agency’s EZLynx administrator must first add Annex as a carrier and configure the agency-level credentials. Once Annex has been added, individual users should enter their own Annex credentials to begin receiving quotes.
